Hexarelin increases the release of growth hormone by enhancing the body’s natural mechanism for triggering its release. This process tells the pituitary gland to increase the release of growth hormones. 

Hexarelin also works by blocking a hormone called somatostatin, aka the GH-inhibiting hormone. Somatostatin is responsible for lowering the body’s natural GH output. By limiting the activity of somatostatin, Hexarelin manages to keep GH production elevated.

Hexarelin also binds to the brain’s growth hormone secretagogue receptor. This receptor is responsible for sending signals to the pituitary gland to release growth hormones. After binding to this receptor, Hexarelin activates it and ultimately increases the release of growth hormone.
